Director
Gareth is a Director at CMD Global Partners and based in New York. He advises corporate, family and private equity clients on M&A and strategy across a variety of sectors including industrials, healthcare, technology and business services, with particular emphasis around cross-border opportunities between North America and Europe.
Prior to joining CMD, Gareth led Deloitte Corporate Finance’s cross-border M&A platform in New York, where he advised on private equity transactions between Europe and North America. Before moving to the United States in 2022, Gareth was a Director in Deloitte’s Dublin office for eight years, executing strategic and private equity transactions in the Irish market. Gareth began his investment banking career at Focus Capital Partners, an Irish-based financial services advisory firm.
Gareth is from Clonmel, Ireland, and holds an MSc in Strategic Management from Smurfit Business School in Dublin, and a Bachelor of Commerce from University College Dublin. Gareth is a fellow of Chartered Accountants in Ireland.
Gareth is passionate about working with non-profit organizations in New York and sits on the board of the Children’s Medical Research Foundation (CMRF) Inc. He was recognized in Irish American Magazine’s ‘Wall St Top 50’ in 2023 and 2024.
